The job started out simple enough...Every year my employer takes a trip out to "Burning Man," an event in the desert where things unheard of goes down amist mutated vehicles and mutated people.
So I was onboard to install the lighting and audio effects that our project bus was supposed to gear up with to make the party knock.
Meanwhile, we were waiting on a design approval from Burning Man's "Department of Mutated Vehicles"....and it was denied due to the fact that the "DMV" said that the bus was not mutated enough...
So I mentioned that they should have hired me to design it and it would of passed, and word got up to the boss, and he asked me if I could come up with an entirely new design for the bus in the next 48 hours. SO me being KING ART, I took the challenge and came up with 2 workable designs after 32 hours of drafting and planning.
So 2 days later the "KAZBUS" emerged...sporting an Islamic temple look and color scheme.
Last Friday I got the official news that my design passed "DMV" reviews and was deemed properly "mutated" =).
So now we're working on making this bus a reality...with only 2 weeks of build time to complete the project, the .650 Caliber Design Crew has been busting in long hours and 8 day work weeks to make this happen. Check out the pictures and let me know what you think.
